About the Role
BSNB is seeking a dynamic Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist to join our expanding Human Resources Department. This role is crucial for managing the recruitment process, from sourcing to job offers, and supporting our Retail Banking mentor programs. You will also provide backup for the Benefits Administrator, including payroll processing and bill reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate the recruiting process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Coordinate all mentors and mentor follow-ups for Retail Banking.
- Serve as back-up for the Benefits Administrator, including payroll processing and bill reconciliation.
- Facilitate recruiting, internal bidding process, and extending offers of employment.
- Perform all screening as necessary based on position and level.
- Develop job ads for new positions and update existing ones.
- Engage the passive job seeker market.
- Maintain the online application system through daily review and distribution of resumes, and bi-weekly posting of positions.
- Prepare social media posts for recruitment and retention at least weekly, generating platform-specific content.
- Represent BSNB at designated employment fairs.
- Administer Retail Banking mentor programs for new hires and platform training, ensuring documentation is maintained and processing bonuses.
- Perform other human resources reporting and employee life-cycle duties.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years' experience in Human Resources or recruiting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to attend recruiting events effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to source passive job seekers.
- Demonstrated ability to thoroughly assess a candidate's qualifications for open positions.
- Experience with payroll software preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to remain highly confidential while maintaining openness with all staff.
- Ability to work with multiple priorities and deadlines.
