About the Role

You will be joining WTW as a Pension Actuarial Consultant, contributing to our UK Defined Benefit pensions work. Your work may cover both trustee and corporate assignments, providing advice on valuations, accounting, PPF levies, individual calculations, and factor reviews, as well as innovative, market-leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on regular valuations, accounting, PPF levies, individual calculations, and factor reviews.
• Work on innovative, market-leading projects.
• Contribute to projects such as integrated risk management, liability management, GMP equalisation, plan design strategy, asset and liability modelling and journey planning strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Engage in team collaboration and build relationships.
• Mentor junior colleagues.
• Demonstrate strong project management and delegation skills.

Requirements

• Actuarial experience within Defined Benefit pensions.
• Experience with trustee and corporate assignments.
• Familiarity with valuations, accounting, PPF levies, individual calculations, and factor reviews.
• Experience with integrated risk management, liability management, GMP equalisation, plan design strategy, asset and liability modelling and journey planning strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong project management and delegation skills.
• Mentoring experience.
