About the Role

Gastico Berlin is the exclusive caterer at the Bertelsmann Group Representation Unter den Linden 1 in Berlin. We are seeking a Supervisor for upscale event catering in full-time employment. You will work at a prestigious address in the heart of Berlin, managing a variety of events from small meetings to large-scale events for up to 1,000 guests, hosting prominent figures from business, politics, media, and culture.

Responsibilities

Execution of events including preparation and follow-up
Welcoming and attending to our high-profile guest clientele during events
Responsibility for timely mise-en-place
Guiding, leading, and motivating external service staff
Conducting independent meetings
Ensuring smooth service flow
Organization of the warehouse, goods receipt, and inspection

Requirements

Independent and responsible work style

Enjoyment in professionally implementing events and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests
Team spirit, commitment, and a positive attitude
Ideally, initial experience in upscale gastronomy or event management
