About the Role
As a Manager within the Real Estate Tax (RET) team, you will be part of a high-performing team, taking responsibility for developing junior team members and working with high-profile clients on challenging projects. You will lead from the front in client dealings and work delivery, with the support of the Partner and Directors.
Responsibilities
- Develop junior team members, understanding their career aspirations.
- Work with high-profile clients on challenging projects, including multi-jurisdictional transactions.
- Lead client dealings and work delivery.
- Engage with the Real Estate and broader Tax teams.
- Participate in business development initiatives and proposal activity.
- Advise clients on Stamp Taxes, Capital Gains, Inheritance Tax, and other related tax matters.
- Provide tax structuring, tax compliance, and tax due diligence advice.
- Advise on Stamp Taxes, Capital Gains, Inheritance Tax and every other related niche in this market.
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or equivalent qualification.
- UK corporate tax experience, ideally within the Real Estate sector.
- Experience of monitoring junior team members' work and coaching / career development.
- Experience in the UK Real Estate market.
- Experience with tax structuring for property transactions.
- Experience working collaboratively with Partner and Director teams to build relationships on key accounts.
- Experience providing international tax advice and due diligence services on cross-border transactions.
- Experience with tax compliance for clients.
- Experience setting up property funds including UK Real Estate Investment Trusts.
