About the Role
Take full ownership of technical service delivery at one of the UK’s most iconic venues. This high-profile, client-facing role involves leading from the front to ensure the highest standards of engineering excellence, compliance, and customer experience in a complex, live environment. You will drive performance, develop your team, and identify innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and support the contract's long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the on-site engineering team to deliver exceptional technical service standards across all M&E systems.
- Monitor performance, drive continuous improvement, and take corrective action where required.
- Act as the technical authority on site, providing guidance, support, and solutions to complex issues.
- Identify and deliver additional works opportunities, including producing quotations and proposals.
- Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across the contract.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and safe systems of work.
- Support the planning and delivery of major stadium events, ensuring maximum system uptime.
- Develop team capability through coaching, training plans, and strong leadership.
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on technical matters.
Requirements
- Strong background in managing M&E services within a critical or complex environment.
- Proven leadership ability, with the capacity to motivate, develop, and performance manage engineering teams.
- Technical strength across electrical and/or mechanical building services systems.
- Strong understanding of compliance, statutory regulations, and safe systems of work (PTW, RAMS, SOPs, EOPs).
- Confidence in client engagement and ability to build long-term, trusted relationships.
- Experience identifying and delivering additional works and value-add opportunities.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly in live or event-driven environments.
- Relevant technical qualifications.
