About the Role
Develop and enhance FX business high volume, low latency automated pricing and trading systems using Java and low latency technologies. Build software solutions across the electronic trading stack, from market connectivity to middle and back-office hand-offs. Collaborate with traders and quantitative developers, manage stakeholders, and provide 3rd line support. Mentor developers and contribute expert technical input to the New York principal pricing and trading technology team to consolidate platforms. Create and maintain automated DevOps pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance FX business high volume, low latency automated pricing and trading systems using Java
- Develop software solutions across the electronic trading stack, from market connectivity, price processing and publication, order management, order negotiation, and hand-off to middle and back-office systems
- Work directly with traders and quantitative developers on gathering requirements, implementation of requirements and managing internal and external stakeholders
- Provide 3rd line support of FX trading business
- Mentor developers
- Provide expert-level technical input into low latency Java expertise into the firm’s New York principal pricing and trading technology team
- Create and maintain fully automated DevOps pipelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
- 3 years of related work experience
- 3 years of experience in Multithreaded skills and use of current Java Frameworks
- 3 years of experience in Using Java advanced features to reduce trading latencies
- 3 years of experience in Improving application throughput
- 3 years of experience in Design, implementation, and delivery of complex, globally-distributed, high-availability, real-time trading systems
- 3 years of experience in Server-side Java
- 3 years of experience in QA Automated testing and processes
- 3 years of experience in Agile style development methods
- 3 years of experience in FX or Rates front office technology (pricing, risk, liquidity aggregation, high-frequency trading or ecommerce)
- 3 years of experience in Developing, maintaining, and deploying high-performance, low-latency applications
- 3 years of experience in Messaging systems (Solace, Tibco/RV, Aeron or IBM MQSeries) and integrating them
