About the Role

As an Operations Associate - Battery Solutions, you will be the operational backbone of our team, contributing to the processes along the Battery & Flexibility customer journey and developing structures that enable sustainable, repeatable growth. Your mission is to develop efficient, scalable systems and processes and become part of a true game-changer in the energy world. You will independently implement operational topics, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure our solutions function in operation. Responsibilities

Shape the operational scaling of our flexibility services, from asset onboarding excellence to stable operational management in daily business.
Manage and develop the entire technical onboarding of new customers into our virtual power plant (VPP) and initiate their inclusion in electricity supply and direct marketing.
Ensure a smooth process from data collection to coordination with all relevant parties.
Take ownership of defined processes along the customer journey and drive your topics independently.
Improve processes to make our workflows future-proof, efficient, and precise.
Recognize challenges early, make data-driven decisions, and continuously improve quality and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Tech, Operations, and external partners to ensure smooth onboarding and excellent customer experience.

Requirements

Relevant experience in energy companies, grid operators, startups, specialized consultancies, or other dynamic environments, ideally in renewable energies.
Familiarity with energy market processes, ideally through prior experience in direct marketing, Virtual Power Plants, metering, or battery storage control.
Excellent communication skills, approaching customers professionally, clearly, and solution-oriented, both written and verbal, even in difficult situations.
High quality standards; 'Zero defects' is a personal aspiration.
High ownership in ambiguity; prioritize wisely, decide quickly, and transform ideas into scalable processes with tangible business impact.
Strong customer orientation; always focus on the customer, think service-oriented, and act accordingly.
Resourcefulness and initiative; find answers independently.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
Aptitude for AI-powered tools and automation platforms.
Native-level German language skills and very good English.
Passion for renewable energies and a desire to contribute actively.
