About the Role

The Associate Director, Product Development and Structuring (EMEA) is responsible for supporting the growth and expansion of IFM’s global platform, focusing on the design and development of innovative infrastructure equity & debt solutions. This includes pooled products, separately managed accounts (SMAs), and tailored solutions delivered across a broad range of client types within IFM’s global investor base.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, delivery, and management of client-centric funds, partnerships, and solutions to achieve IFM's global commercial strategy and meet evolving client investment needs, ensuring alignment with market, regulatory standards, and IFM's operating model.
  • Lead and drive the design and delivery of product initiatives within agreed timescales and budgets, meeting client needs, complying with regulations, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Promote, embed, and enhance the product launch and governance model, ensuring compliance with IFM's operating model, product policies, and procedures.
  • Provide direct product technical support on customer channels, fund domicile, vehicle, asset class, regulation, tax, registrations, disclosures, and operational items for existing products.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive change across a global platform by developing relationships with senior leadership and key teams to resolve project barriers.
  • Acquire, maintain, and share broad knowledge of products, product structures, and regulatory guidelines for product governance, staying informed of industry changes.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant experience in asset management, infrastructure finance, private credit, or investment banking.
  • Detailed market and product knowledge in Infrastructure, Debt, Listed Equities, and Private Equities globally.
  • Demonstrable experience with private asset products in both fund and non-fund formats, including separately managed accounts.
  • Experience leading complex interactions with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, law, business, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, debt, and private markets as an asset class.
  • Familiarity with the infrastructure and debt funds management industry, competitors, and client solutions.
  • Market knowledge of institutional investors, with a focus on EMEA.
  • Knowledge gained in previous product management roles within financial services.
  • Detailed understanding of the competitive landscape in global funds management.
  • Understanding of business strategy, financial metrics, and key performance drivers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at senior levels.
  • Well-developed client relationship management skills.
  • Business acumen, financial metrics, and key performance driver understanding.
