About the Role
Chilton Auto Body is seeking experienced Auto Collision Journey Level Body Technicians and Tear Down Disassembly and Reassembly Technicians for multiple San Francisco Bay Area locations. This is an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and grow within the company.
Responsibilities
- Examine vehicles for collision-related damage.
- Document the time and effort required to repair and refinish vehicles to pre-accident condition.
- Perform repairs in accordance with industry standards and insurance company guidelines.
- Tear down and re-assembly of vehicles.
- Perform welding with MIG and Spot resistance welders.
- Replace panels.
- Straighten, grind, sand, and fill repair panels.
- Repair frames and unibody using a frame rack.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive collision repair for A-tech level.
- Knowledge of automotive disassembly and reassembly is required.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and possess a high standard for quality.
- Must provide own basic tools.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a thorough background check.
