About the Role
Expleo is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to support a policy and regulatory initiative within the payments sector. The role requires expertise in payments regulation, fraud policy, consumer protection, and policy development, with the ability to lead workstreams, conduct analysis, and engage with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to policy projects and analysis, independently and within teams.
- Oversee specific policy workstreams and support junior colleagues.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, building relationships with policy, economic, legal, communications, and industry stakeholders.
- Apply robust policy and economic analysis to support policy development and review.
- Draft briefing materials, reports, and discussion papers on complex issues.
- Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Act as a role model by sharing knowledge, experience, and best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a policy or regulatory environment.
- Deep understanding of the UK payments landscape, including payment systems, consumer protection, and fraud policy.
- Proven project delivery experience, including leading workstreams, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing policy papers, briefings, reports, and recommendations.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including presenting complex issues clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of consumer reimbursement frameworks and fraud prevention measures.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
