About the Role

The evangelische Kindertagesstätte „Mauerhüpfer“ on the Haus Lazarus campus in Berlin Mitte is seeking an educator for the under-3s age group starting October 2026. This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position.

Responsibilities

• Provide sensitive, patient, and individual support to children with and without special needs.
• Offer professional guidance, regular participation in team meetings, and supervision.
• Facilitate joyful learning through play to support children's development into independent and communal personalities.
• Creatively and democratically implement educational content in learning areas.
• Provide pedagogical support to a child group in tandem.
• Engage in self-determined and equitable work within a lively and open-minded team.

Requirements

• Completed training as a state-recognized educator or pedagogical specialist (m/f/d).
• Ability to listen to children and colleagues, ask open questions, and self-reflect.
• Liveliness, curiosity, and joy in pedagogical work and teamwork.
• Presentation of an extended police clearance certificate and proof of measles protection.
