About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual looking to progress or kick-start their career as a Paralegal within our growing busy Immigration Team, working closely with our Charity, Faith, and Education sectors. As a Paralegal, your day will be filled with a variety of different tasks across the team, playing a vital role in assisting the team on a variety of client matters. This will include liaising with clients, diary management, and assisting the team with research and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Attending client meetings and minute taking.
- Diary management; scheduling meetings accordingly both internally and externally.
- Drafting key documents and updates.
- Assist with business developments and research.
- Preparing drafts of documents and corresponding with clients as requested.
- General document management including filing and photocopying as required by the team.
- Dealing with all clients referred to you in person and on the telephone in a professional and efficient manner.
- Working as part of a Team with the other members of the Team/s or other members of the Firm where necessary.
- Carrying out your work for the client to the highest possible standard.
- Dealing with all communications promptly whether internal or external.
- Meeting time recording requirements.
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience - ideally at least 6 months' worth.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Organisation skills and experience meeting deadlines in a timely manner.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
- An aptitude for learning and be able to show initiative.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence to challenge constructively and offer alternative approaches.
- Solutions focused approach with drive to improve processes and outcomes.
- Strong organisation skills, taking full ownership of tasks and ensuring delivery within agreed deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and influence decision-making effectively.
- Adaptable approach in managing workload and supporting others.
- Ability to work collaboratively and team-first attitude.
