About the Role

Gastico Berlin is the exclusive caterer at the Bertelsmann Group Representation Unter den Linden 1 in Berlin. We are seeking a Supervisor for upscale event catering in full-time employment. You will work in the heart of Berlin at a prestigious address, managing events ranging from small exclusive meetings to large-scale events for up to 1,000 guests, hosting prominent figures from business, politics, media, and culture. Your daily work will be exciting, varied, and challenging due to the unique nature of each event.

Responsibilities

Conducting events, including preparation and follow-up
Welcoming and attending to our high-caliber guest clientele during events
Ensuring timely mise-en-place
Guiding, leading, and motivating external service staff
Leading independent meetings
Ensuring smooth service flow
Organizing the goods inventory, receiving, and checking goods
Possessing secure knowledge of the food and beverage offerings

Requirements

Enjoyment in professionally implementing events and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests
