About the Role

As a Technical Asset Manager, you will play a central role in the technical and strategic evaluation of our projects. You will work at the interface of project development, technology, construction, and operation, accompanying assets from early analysis through to long-term operational management.

Responsibilities

  • Technical and strategic project evaluation
  • Technical and economic analysis of projects in the fields of wind, solar PV, BESS, biogas, and other energy transition technologies.
  • Management of technical due diligence processes, including yield reports, grid connections, permits, construction concepts, and project contracts.
  • Identification and assessment of technical risks and derivation of suitable risk mitigation measures.
  • Contribution of a strategic perspective to technology selection, project conception, and portfolio development.
  • Project management and implementation
  • Development of realistic project strategies, time, and budget plans.
  • Management of external partners such as Owner's Engineers, EPCs, OEMs, and technical consultants.
  • Proactive management of critical project risks and identification of optimization potentials.
  • Further development of standardized processes and methods for development, construction, and asset management.
  • Technical Asset Management and platform development
  • Co-design and further development of our Technical Asset Management Platform across various technologies.
  • Establishment of modern standards, reporting structures, and KPIs for a growing portfolio.
  • Implementation of operational and strategic measures to increase availability, yield, and asset value.
  • Utilization of digital tools, data analysis, and AI-supported workflows for more efficient teamwork.
  • Market and technology development
  • Monitoring of technological, regulatory, and market developments in the field of renewables and energy transition.
  • Evaluation of new technologies and business models such as offshore wind, biogas, energy storage, and flexibility solutions.
  • Building a robust network within the European energy and infrastructure sector.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering, energy technology, renewable energies, or a comparable field.
  • Approximately 4-6 years of professional experience in Technical Due Diligence, project development, construction management, asset management, or the operation of renewable energy assets.
  • Experience in evaluating technical, economic, or regulatory issues in the field of wind, solar PV, BESS, or comparable infrastructure.
  • Analytical thinking skills and a structured, results-oriented work style.
  • Openness to digital tools, data analysis, and AI-supported working methods – existing experience is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Willingness to learn, self-responsibility, and enjoyment in developing pragmatic solutions in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to bring together different specialist disciplines.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
