Responsibilities
- Assist in liaising with Stakeholders to develop project scope document and operational requirements for the Design Brief.
- Advise Stakeholders on architectural matters, including programming, space planning, layout, design, statutory compliance, and technical issues.
- Manage the Design Consultants’ project design and coordination process throughout design and documentation phases.
- Review and comment on architectural design submissions at various stages.
- Manage and review milestone deliverables from Design Consultants to ensure compliance with project schedule, scope, requirements, codes, and company guidelines.
- Obtain, review, and consolidate Stakeholders’ feedback on stage deliverables and relay them to Consultants.
- Provide architectural and technical advice on Contractor appointments during tender review.
- Manage and review all Contractor submissions, including material/sample submissions, method statements, and shop drawings.
- Liaise with the internal project team and Design Consultants regarding budget and schedule constraints to develop design solutions.
- Manage and facilitate architectural options or solutions for design issues.
- Monitor the quality of off- and on-site fabrication from an architectural and aesthetic perspective.
- Supervise Construction Administration activities, including managing Design Consultants’ responses, ensuring contractor milestones are met, managing contractor reporting, and ensuring quality assurance systems are maintained.
- Prepare presentation materials.
- Perform other tasks as they arise during project design and delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 6-12 years of working experience in Architecture within the large-scale Integrated Resorts, Gaming, or Hotel industry is required.
- Sound knowledge of local statutory codes and authority submission/application procedures.
- Creativity, imagination, and sound design sense.
- Good 3-dimensional awareness.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to visualize and communicate designs.
- Good presentation and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, and Bluebeam.
- Revit and 3D modeling skills are a plus.
- Good organization, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Ability to coordinate groups of Consultants/Contractors.
