About the Role

As a Junior Lecturer in the Sales Academy, you will be a central point of contact for our participants, teaching fundamental sales principles and selected advanced topics. Your goal is to present sales content in an understandable, practical, and motivating way, always considering job market demands and successful entry into a sales career. You will support our talents in building relevant sales competencies, gaining confidence in customer interactions, and understanding modern sales processes. Beyond subject matter expertise, you will guide them methodologically and personally through the learning process and actively contribute to the development of our teaching content and formats. You will collaborate closely with the Academy Lead, Teaching Assistants, and Freelance Lecturers to ensure high didactic quality and a consistent learning experience within the Sales Academy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct standard learning units in the basic sales module and other specialization modules according to the defined curriculum.
  • Teach practical sales fundamentals, including B2B and B2C sales, CRM systems, lead management, communication skills, and sales processes.
  • Prepare and moderate interactive sessions, exercises, and discussions.
  • Substitute for courses in the absence of freelance lecturers.
  • Create and develop learning content, assignments, tutorials, practical exercises, and role-plays.
  • Develop realistic sales scenarios, conversation simulations, and use cases.
  • Contribute to final exams, additional projects, and project weeks.
  • Supplement, update, and maintain existing content in the Learning Management System.
  • Conduct individual modules or sessions in your own sales specializations, such as inside sales, account management, negotiation techniques, or CRM processes.
  • Incorporate your own practical experience and current developments from the sales environment.
  • Support the further development of existing specializations and learning formats.
  • Assist in the conception, execution, and evaluation of written exams and practical performance assessments.
  • Document attendance, learning progress, and participant performance.
  • Provide structured and comprehensible feedback.
  • Supervise project weeks and practical sales tasks, including individual feedback.
  • Provide daily afternoon support for technical questions, tutorials, and exam preparation.
  • Assist participants with understanding issues, uncertainties, and applying learned material.
  • Motivate and accompany participants on their path to a career in sales.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Sales, Business Psychology) and one to two years of professional experience in sales (e.g., B2B/B2C, Inside Sales, Account Management, or Business Development).
  • Good understanding of modern sales processes, including lead management, communication, and closing, with initial experience in CRM systems and digital sales tools.
  • Initial experience in knowledge transfer (e.g., teaching, training, workshops, or coaching) and enjoyment in conveying content clearly, practically, and structurally.
  • Confident presentation skills in front of groups (online or hybrid), ability to actively engage participants, and a structured, self-organized way of working.
  • Very good German language skills (at least C2), strong communication skills, empathy, and teamwork ability.
  • Reliable, independent work style and motivation to support participants in their career path.
  • Willingness for continuous professional and didactic development, as well as daily afternoon support.
  • The position can be remote or hybrid from the Berlin office.
