About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to bridge the gap between modern data architecture, business strategy, and AI. This hybrid role involves acting as a strategic consultant to multinational clients while leveraging AI-driven agentic solutions to accelerate data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and BI creation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison for business stakeholders to translate needs into functional specifications and data models.
• Design, develop, and review scalable ETL/ELT solutions using Snowflake and AI-driven automation tools.
• Design efficient data models including Data Vault and Star/Snowflake schemas.
• Create intuitive BI dashboards using Power BI to support client decision-making.
• Audit and test AI-generated pipelines, code, and documentation for enterprise-grade reliability.
• Guide clients on AI and data strategy to improve data quality and workflow efficiency.
• Champion engineering best practices including documentation, Git, and CI/CD.
• Mentor team members on integrating AI into their development workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Analysis, or a similar consulting role.
• Proven track record of technical execution and presenting strategy to stakeholders.
• High proficiency in advanced SQL and modern Data Warehousing, specifically Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience using AI/GenAI tools for development, such as RAG pipelines or AI-assisted coding.
• Understanding of Git, CI/CD, agile workflows, and cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Strong structured problem-solving skills and business acumen.
• Ability to explain technical architectures to non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in German (C1) and English (C1) with the ability to lead client workshops.
• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field.
