About the Role
OEM Logistics is seeking Supplier Specialists with a passion for manufacturing and aerospace to join their rapidly growing team. This role involves proactive supplier management solutions for major Primes and Tier-1s in the aerospace, defense, and shipbuilding sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop partnership relationships with assigned suppliers to meet customer requirements.
- Manage supplier Open Order Reports to minimize risk and improve delivery.
- Manage delivery performance trends, initiate root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate timely and effective closure of corrective actions.
- Work with sub-tiers to improve communication and establish production commitments.
- Facilitate cross-functional department communication to prevent delays.
- Provide written communication on mission-critical parts and delivery performance.
- Track delivery performance trends and initiate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Perform periodic local travel.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- US citizenship required.
- Minimum of five to ten years of manufacturing experience required (Aerospace, Defense, Ship Building, or Submarine Industry experience preferred).
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment motor vehicle history check.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs required.
