About the Role
Provide comprehensive administrative and day-to-day support to a General Manager within the News Corp Client Partnerships team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage diary and inbox, prioritizing meetings and calls.
- Arrange travel and handle meeting invitations.
- Gather documents and prepare materials for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings.
- Organize and plan local events and team-building activities.
- Ensure regular meetings are scheduled with direct reports and key business relationships.
- Draft and distribute team announcements, meeting recaps, and internal memos.
- Handle ad hoc tasks such as office and software supplies, rewards, and record management.
- Manage financial approval requests, credit card reconciliation, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Develop and implement event plans, tracking RSVPs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the media sector is preferred but not essential.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong decision-making abilities and initiative.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a busy, collaborative environment.
- Solid administrative and computer skills, particularly with Google Suite and MS Office.
