About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to keep selling while stepping up to lead a team of Sales professionals in Code Camp. You'll carry your own territory and targets and manage a small team - coaching their performance, owning the numbers, and driving the process improvements that help the whole team win. You'll split your time between the front line and the leadership seat: closing school partnerships yourself, then turning what works into playbooks, reporting and coaching that lift everyone around you. It's the ideal next step for a high-performing salesperson ready to prove they can grow a team as well as a pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Own a territory and personal target: prospect, pitch and close new school partnerships
- Run discovery meetings with key decision-makers and deliver proposals that convert
- Manage your own sales cycle end-to-end and model best practice for the team
- Manage, coach and develop a team of sales reps to hit individual and collective targets
- Run regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews and call/pitch coaching to lift conversion and activity
- Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and support reps who need to get back on track
- Own accurate team forecasting and pipeline reporting to leadership
- Track activity, conversion and revenue metrics across the team and surface risks and opportunities early
- Keep CRM data clean and use it to drive decisions and coaching
- Lead process improvement initiatives across outreach, discovery, proposals and handover
- Build and refine playbooks, templates and cadences that raise the whole team's performance
- Partner with Marketing on campaigns and local initiatives, and with Operations on smooth post-sale handovers
- Feed market insights back into leadership to help shape our offering and go-to-market approach
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales performance, with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets
- Experience leading, coaching or mentoring salespeople (formal management or strong 2IC/team-lead experience)
- Confident communicator who's comfortable in front of decision-makers and in front of a team
- Strong with numbers: forecasting, pipeline management and performance reporting
- A builder who spots what's not working and improves it - playbooks, process, cadences
- Organised, resilient and motivated by both personal and team results
- Positive, hands-on, values-led leader who leads from the front
