About the Role

The Director of Revenue Management Japan drives collaboration with individual hotel teams and Hub Revenue Management leadership to achieve country-specific strategic and financial goals. This role is pivotal in executing projects developing talent within revenue teams at the country level and ensuring that revenue generation strategies are effectively implemented in each hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and influence pricing strategies across hotels to optimize revenue generation and enhance market share, ensuring competitive positioning in the marketplace
  • Guide revenue management strategies at each hotel, aligning them with national and regional objectives
  • Oversee the implementation and effective use of revenue management tools and systems in hotels across the country
  • Engage with individual hotel teams to address specific revenue challenges and opportunities
  • Analyse revenue performance metrics within the country to identify trends and improvement areas
  • Lead and manage revenue-focused projects, enhancing revenue generation and operational efficiency
  • Assist in developing and implementing revenue strategies under the guidance of the Regional Director
  • Support and enhance talent development within revenue management teams at the country level
  • Promote continuous learning and professional growth among revenue teams at the country level
  • Serve as a communication link between hotel teams and senior management, ensuring strategy alignment.

Requirements

  • At least 4-6 years of experience in Revenue Management, including leadership roles within cluster/country/area level.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management, strategy execution, and team development.
  • Deep understanding of revenue management practices and challenges specific to the country's hotels.
  • Effective leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning and project execution.
  • Commitment to driving talent development and creating a learning environment.
  • Expertise in revenue management tools and systems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different hotel environments within the country.
  • Working proficiency in Japanese and fluent English.
