About the Role

Our used car dealership is seeking an experienced and thorough Mechanic for its service and parts department. The ideal candidate will diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues on customer vehicles, including AC and electrical problems. This role requires a well-trained, organized professional who takes pride in their work and can perform customer service duties. Due to company growth, flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work overtime is necessary.

Responsibilities

Diagnose vehicle issues based on history, testing, and customer input.
Provide repair estimates and obtain customer approval.
Perform vehicle repairs based on diagnosed issues and estimates.
Test drive vehicles post-repair to ensure mechanical soundness.
Document all repair work.

Requirements

1+ years of automotive repair experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to operate diagnostic tools.

Skills
