About the Role
The Social Media Manager leads the strategy, operations, and performance of the Sydney Opera House’s social media channels to strengthen brand presence and grow engaged communities. This hands-on role oversees publishing, monitoring, governance, and delivers actionable insights through analytics and reporting to drive continual improvement.

Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience leading social media strategy, performance, and operations in business or agency environments.
- Proven expertise in social platforms, audience engagement, community management, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate social media metrics into actionable insights and measurable ROI.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Solid understanding of governance, brand standards and crisis management.
- Existing Australian work rights.
- Satisfactory National Police Check.
- Satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment.
