About the Role
As a Product Manager at Axel Springer, you will be responsible for the further development of WELT.de with the goal of increasing direct traffic and engagement, making WELT.de attractive beyond the core user base. You will shape the digital future of journalism in an innovative environment, working with experts from various disciplines to develop market-leading media products for Europe and the USA.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the roadmap and backlog for your product area, prioritizing based on business goals and user value.
- Continuously analyze usage data, market trends, and competitors to develop the best possible solutions.
- Ensure that product development is data-driven and user-centric.
- Ensure transparency with stakeholders by communicating progress clearly and structured.
- Actively and systematically use AI in your daily work and drive innovation in your product area.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in the digital environment, ideally in B2C or in fields such as advertising, marketing, or content management.
- You have independently managed product initiatives from idea to launch.
- You possess entrepreneurial thinking and make decisions based on business goals and user value.
- You approach tasks analytically, structured, and solution-oriented, with a drive to advance things, test quickly, and iterate systematically.
- You are very familiar with agile methods and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent German (C1) and English (C1) language skills.
