About the Role

In this leadership role, you'll serve as the Country Commercial Leader MBD, helping enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer by delivering solutions that advance scientific discovery, improve patient outcomes, and protect communities. You will lead and develop a high-performing commercial sales team, providing strategic direction to achieve revenue, market share, and growth objectives across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the country commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with regional and global business objectives while delivering sustainable revenue, profitability, and market share growth.
  • Own the country's commercial performance, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, business planning, pricing strategy, and achievement of financial targets.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing commercial organization by setting clear expectations, coaching managers and sales professionals, building succession plans, and fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive strategic customer engagement by developing executive-level relationships with key customers, distributors, government stakeholders, and industry partners to strengthen long-term partnerships and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities through competitive analysis, customer insights, market segmentation, and portfolio optimization to expand the business and increase market penetration.
  • Champion disciplined sales execution by implementing best practices in opportunity management, CRM utilization, sales forecasting, account planning, and performance metrics to improve commercial effectiveness.
  • Represent the business internally and externally as the country commercial leader, contributing to regional leadership discussions, strategic planning, talent development, and cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Adhere to EHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment.

Requirements

  • A degree level education is needed, with preference given where the degree subject has strong relevance to our business.
  • MBA desirable
  • Sales experience including minimum 5 years in management role including demonstrated success in consistently achieving/exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proven Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success in the relevant scientific sectors, combining deep market insight with strong business acumen to translate emerging trends into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Strategic Growth Leadership: Established track record of driving sustainable business growth through effective sales leadership and portfolio strategy execution, delivering measurable impact on revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • People and Performance Leadership: Experienced in leading, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams. Recognized for building capability, fostering engagement, and driving accountability to deliver exceptional results.
  • Performance-Driven Mindset: History of thriving within fast-paced, high-intensity environments that demand operational excellence, strategic focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including to domestic and international markets (minimum 50% travel).
  • Global and Matrix Experience: Success working within complex, decentralized, and matrixed organizations, navigating cross-functional dynamics to achieve strategic alignment and execution.
  • Broad Commercial Perspective: Experience gained across multiple companies or business environments, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of diverse markets, customer needs, and operating models.
