About the Role

Wizcorp is seeking an experienced VFX Artist to join our team and contribute to projects for next-generation game consoles. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects globally and enhance your skills through exposure to various art styles. Responsibilities

• Design and create visual effects for games in collaboration with planners and programmers.
• Produce visual effects, including simulation, texturing, modeling, and setup.
• Provide technical support for visual effects production.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in visual effects production, not limited to game development.
• Must reside in Japan during employment with Wizcorp.

Skills

• Specialized skills or knowledge in specific areas of the VFX production pipeline.
• Experience with multiple DCC tools such as Houdini, Unreal (Niagara), and Maya.
• Experience creating visual effects using Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of shaders and scripting.
• Experience in project leadership or management.
• Understanding of English and experience in English-speaking production environments.
• Knowledge of high-end 3D graphics.
• Experience in negotiation and management with external companies.
