About the Role
As the Account Manager, you will be a key driver of growth, dedicated to cultivating and expanding business within a strategic portfolio of 15–25 established, high-performing partners in your assigned territory. Operating primarily in the field, you serve as the principal point of contact and a trusted advisor, delivering Axis’ comprehensive value to ensure our customers’ long-term success. Your mission is to uncover new business opportunities while supporting local market strategies and providing expert project design support.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal point of contact for valued partners to support their ongoing current and future needs.
- Develop new accounts with a strong commitment to Axis for long-term business success.
- Build an ecosystem of companies around Axis by influencing accounts and providing information and training.
- Engage in projects, actively approaching Authorized Partners (APs), identifying needs, and providing timely sales support.
- Maintain potential Key Accounts (KAs) and update them bi-annually.
- Invite accounts to participate in Axis Communications Academy for channel enablement.
- Participate in Business Seminars, Partner Forums, and Academy Fundamentals to connect with customers and deliver Axis value.
- Organize solution seminars/workshops with partners to promote end-users, provide training, and generate project pipelines.
- Provide end-users with opportunities to experience Axis solutions alongside partners to generate project pipelines.
- Qualify and build a pipeline of leads for the wider Sales Team.
- Work closely with partners to develop project pipelines and close projects.
- Manage accurate forecast (FCST) information and daily sales activities in SFDC.
- Confirm partner capabilities to sell total network video solutions.
- Drive partner enablement to strengthen the sales structure.
- Execute Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with selected partners.
- Control and handle the demo pool within the region and manage pricelist communication.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver results throughout the sales cycle.
- Create regular sales reports showing the status and progress of key accounts and major deals.
- Proactively seek new ways to improve efficiency and find solutions for partners.
Requirements
- Over 3 years of experience in sales within the IT industry or a related company.
- Certification or bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or relevant experience.
- Exposure to, or some experience in, a customer-focused sales role or similar is valued.
- Enterprise selling skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to present and share points of view confidently.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
- Native level Japanese or JLPT N1 certification required.
- TOEIC score of 600 or above is preferred.
- Driven, proactive, and self-motivated team player with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Flexible and collaborative by nature.
- Background checks will be conducted for applicable verifications.
