About the Role

Wizcorp is seeking a Senior 3D Background Artist to join projects for next-generation game consoles. This role offers an opportunity to work globally within our group companies, exposing you to diverse art styles and enhancing your experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and create 3D backgrounds for games.
• Collaborate with planners and programmers to conceptualize and produce backgrounds aligned with game design.
• Create 3D background models, including modeling, sculpting, texturing, and setup.
• Provide technical support for 3D background production.

Requirements

• 7+ years of background modeling experience in the game industry.
• Experience with multiple DCC tools such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Houdini.
• Experience with background modeling in Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of shaders and scripting.
• Knowledge of high-end graphics in 3DCG.

Skills

• Specialized skills and knowledge in 3D background modeling production processes.
• English comprehension and experience in English-speaking production environments.
• Project leadership and management experience.
• Experience negotiating and managing external companies.
• Desire to work globally as a 3D modeler.
