About the Role

As a Banking Consultant in Retail Banking, you will provide customers with a seamless banking experience by meeting their financial needs and goals. You will handle transaction activities, conduct needs-based conversations, and educate customers on available financial solutions, including digital options. This role is primarily branch-based and focuses on delivering high standards of customer service to foster customer advocacy for ANZ. You will be part of a collaborative team, acting as a role model and peer coach to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy and create real customer value
Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives
Take responsibility to ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective
Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures

Requirements

Exceptional customer focus
Retail experience is an advantage
Experience in being a user and promoter of technology
Working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage
Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity
Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
Sound understanding of compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
