Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care across a comprehensive range of Nuclear Medicine, PET, diagnostic CT, and theranostic services.
Perform a diverse range of diagnostic imaging and radionuclide therapy procedures, including radiopharmaceutical preparation, administration, and post-treatment patient monitoring, in accordance with EPA Radiation Licence requirements and clinical governance standards.
Maintain safe, compliant, and efficient practice, including accurate documentation, adherence to NSW Health/SVHA policies, and support for effective patient flow and resource use.
Build strong collaborative relationships across the hospital, health networks, universities, and professional stakeholders to support multidisciplinary, evidence-based care.
Contribute to continuous improvement and professional development, including quality initiatives, education, training, and research activities.

Requirements

Qualified Nuclear Medicine Scientist with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent qualification recognised by MRPB, with current AHPRA registration.
Holds a current NSW EPA radiation licence and has completed supervised practice (or equivalent fourth-year competency), ensuring confidence in safe and compliant clinical practice.
A confident clinician who can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Strong communicator with excellent clinical judgement, problem-solving ability, and interpersonal skills, able to contribute effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Committed to continuous professional development, quality improvement, and education, with a willingness to support students and contribute to teaching and departmental learning.
Employment is conditional upon the completion of all role-required pre-employment checks, including relevant immunisations.
