About the Role
Netflix's Content Programming Strategy & Operations (CPS&O) team is looking for a Manager to join its UK team based in London. CPS&O develops strategic insights to further the company's global entertainment efforts. Senior management depends heavily on the CPS&O team to accurately measure business performance and lead the strategic analysis used to inform important content decisions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a thought partner to UK content and acquisitions leadership on programming priorities and investment decisions.
- Spearhead special projects and present strategic recommendations on UK programming decisions to senior Netflix leadership.
- Build frameworks to guide portfolio decisions across licensed titles, including territory prioritization, opportunity sizing, and programming analyses.
- Partner with a broad set of cross-functional partners including Content, Finance & Strategy, Marketing, Product, Consumer Insights, and global CPS&O, cascading updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring alignment on EMEA content priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a media/entertainment/streaming company, management consulting firm, investment bank, or similarly demanding environment in a strategy, operations, or analytical role.
- Deep knowledge of the TV/film content landscape, with familiarity in content licensing, acquisitions, windowing strategies, or programming operations.
- Proven ability to independently lead complex projects and present findings and recommendations to senior executives with clarity and conviction.
- Strong financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and operate effectively in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.
- Self-directed and disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities without losing attention to detail.
- High intellectual curiosity; tracks industry trends, synthesizes competitive intelligence, and brings informed points of view to strategic discussions.
- Passion for entertainment and an avid consumer of content.
