About the Role
This role aims to maximize revenue growth by ensuring alignment between propositions and go-to-market strategies. It empowers internal sales channels, including the B2O team and Network colleagues, with the necessary insights, tools, and support to achieve success.
Responsibilities
- Implement go-to-market plans, collaborating with Sales, Network, and Marketing teams.
- Implement best practice approaches, playbooks, and frameworks to optimize market execution.
- Provide strategic input into partner bids and tender processes, ensuring proposition integrity and relevance.
- Collaborate with legal, commercial, and delivery teams to develop scalable, repeatable B2O models.
- Ensure propositions are translated into compelling sales narratives and supported by marketing assets for go-to-market readiness.
- Own the end-to-end enablement toolkit for each proposition area, including pitch decks, value stories, FAQs, and objection handling.
- Act as the interface between Proposition, Sales, and Marketing to ensure a coherent customer message.
- Establish feedback mechanisms to continuously improve sales readiness and market adoption.
- Proactively develop strong relationships with sales colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Plan and maintain nominated account relationships to support commercial and impact targets using Key Account Management plans.
- Research and plan go-to-market plans for priority markets with Proposition senior managers and Sales and Network colleagues.
- Monitor and report market/customer/stakeholder trends to identify business development opportunities and propose responsive plans.
- Provide subject area expertise to sales teams to support the development of high-quality, competitive, and customer/market-focused proposals.
- Support colleagues on the negotiation and signing of agreements with partners.
- Liaise closely with Sales and Marketing teams to support business development initiatives.
- Monitor local market, customer, and related information to maintain the British Council’s commercial competitive edge and professional reputation.
- Highlight areas requiring remedial action to senior managers and suggest solutions.
- Build effective working relationships with Proposition, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to maintain an understanding of market developments.
- Contribute to planning and implementation of promotional, marketing, playbooks, frameworks, PR, and outreach collateral/activities for channel partners.
- Participate in internal working groups/peer networks to understand propositions and apply insights to business development activities.
- Identify opportunities for new promotional/marketing/PR and outreach initiatives to improve channel development effectiveness.
- Make evidence-based recommendations to Proposition, Sales, and Marketing teams to secure commitment/resources for new initiatives.
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of channel partner feedback for service improvement.
- Contribute to mitigating risks according to British Council corporate policies and frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience in managing stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrable experience of working from customer insight to identifying opportunities to improve products and/or services.
- Experience of working in a global organisation.
- Experience of contributing to winning tender responses and pricing.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English is required.
- Proof of Identity requirements/right to work in country.
- Full time residency in the UK or Poland with unlimited right to work.
- Initial and continuing employment is subject to an annual background check.
