About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electronics Technician for a bench-focused role in the Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) space. This position offers the chance to directly contribute to cutting-edge medical technology, restoring autonomy and improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform soldering and rework on PCBs, including 0201 discretes and fine-pitch BGAs under a microscope
  • Execute board modifications, debug issues, and support rapid design iterations
  • Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and test procedures with high accuracy
  • Run functional tests on incoming and assembled hardware and document results
  • Support incoming inspection and ensure hardware meets quality standards
  • Assist with lab operations, including organization, equipment upkeep, and basic lab management
  • Calibrate and maintain test equipment and coordinate with external vendors
  • Partner closely with engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve designs

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with fine-pitch soldering and PCB rework
  • Comfortable working under a microscope on small, delicate components
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Experience with electronics testing and lab equipment
  • Self-starter comfortable at the bench and adapting in a startup environment
  • Experience in a regulated environment, especially medical devices (Nice to Have)
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, IPC-7711, IPC-7721, IPC-6012, and IPC-6013 (Nice to Have)
  • Exposure to equipment calibration or lab coordination (Nice to Have)
