About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate cook to prepare the best food for kindergarten and school children, using fresh, organic ingredients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare meals according to specified recipes.
  • Modify recipes and substitute allergenic ingredients.
  • Handle and process (organic) and regional food products correctly.
  • Monitor and adhere to quality standards.
  • Procure and store food items properly, and receive goods.
  • Comply with legal hygiene regulations, especially according to HACCP.
  • Guide kitchen assistants, assistant cooks, dishwashers, trainees, and interns.
  • Implement all documentation requirements.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and employees.
  • Portion and serve food.
  • Participate in events and catering.
  • Attend training sessions.
  • Document work.
  • Digital time tracking and requesting absences via the HR information system.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a cook.
  • Training or additional qualification as a dietitian cook is required.
  • Further training as a dietetically trained cook (DGE).
  • Experience in system gastronomy / community catering.
