About the Role

NVIDIA is seeking an AI Networking Software Developer to join their AI Networking SW development and codesign team. This role involves working with cutting-edge NVIDIA hardware and technologies, performing full-stack benchmarking for AI training/inference on data center-scale systems, and developing in-house tools while adopting community practices. The goal is to ensure large-scale systems deliver expected performance by identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements.

Responsibilities

Developing AI networking communication frameworks and applications for production on large-scale supercomputers and data centers.
Developing production tools and benchmarks utilized by internal and external NVIDIA teams.
Enabling new AI models within the benchmarking infrastructure.
Delivering insights through end-to-end analysis of large-scale workloads across hardware and software stacks.
Designing and implementing automation systems, including large-scale parameter search for optimal configurations.
Collaborating with networking and hardware teams for co-design of new features and software interfaces.

Requirements

B.Sc., M.Sc degree in Computer Science / Software engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience.
Professional Python development experience.
Experience building maintainable, long-lived tools with low maintenance burden.
Solid Linux expertise and extensive command-line environment experience.
Ability to work across a broad and evolving stack.
Strong drive to learn, from hardware and networking up to large-scale AI systems.
