About the Role
The Manager, B2B Fintech Partnerships, Business Development, is responsible for developing and selling partnership opportunities to grow Visa payment volume in B2B payment flows. This role owns a sales target for commercial issuance solutions and provides insights into commercial products and market trends to drive profitable growth for Visa and clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sell meaningful partnership opportunities to grow Visa payment volume in B2B payment flows.
- Own a sales target for commercial issuance solutions.
- Provide insights into commercial products and market trends.
- Develop growth strategies and strategic recommendations.
- Support the Visa team in developing the overall B2B fintech strategy.
- Identify strategic opportunities for Visa capabilities by understanding segments and customer business needs.
- Leverage Visa solutions across all product platforms.
- Own B2B partnership efforts with fintechs and issuers.
- Support a strong and ongoing pipeline of opportunities.
- Provide best-in-class service to ensure prospective clients’ business objectives are met.
- Educate partners on Visa products and opportunities.
- Lead the development, negotiation, and signing of proposals.
- Work with various internal stakeholders and build relationships with strategic partner executives.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets for Commercial issuance solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure partner solutioning is on track.
- Align partner solutioning with Visa’s strategy and client goals.
- Proactively identify and solve complex problems impacting the business.
- Take the lead in solving problems during program development with partners.
- Collaborate internally to address issues.
- Educate the organization on market landscape findings and potential partner opportunities.
- Report to and interact with senior management on partnership progress.
- Foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with clients and within Visa.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
