About the Role
For the establishment of a new manufactory in Kreuzberg, we are seeking new employees who share our passion for food, which is lovingly bottled, packaged, and distributed in small batches. We focus on quality, design, and aspiration, not mass production.
Responsibilities
- Support in setting up a production facility in our large kitchen for processed foods
- Support in setting up HACCP and quality management systems
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and quality standards (HACCP, IFS, BRC, Organic)
- Ensure quality and on-time delivery in production
- Conduct quality controls throughout the entire production process and corresponding documentation
- Participate in the optimization of production processes
- Set up machines for food production, labeling, filling, and preservation
- Perform digital settings on machines if necessary
- Goods receipt and purchasing
- Fill food products in compliance with hygiene standards
- Preserve food products using appropriate methods
- Label products according to specifications
- Package finished products for shipping
- Operate machines for filling, labeling, and processing
- Clean machines
- Convert machines
- Work in the community catering kitchen and in logistics
Requirements
- Experience in food production or comparable areas
- Training in the preparation of desserts and pastries
- In-depth understanding of food production, especially in the aforementioned area (desserts and pastries)
- Experience in gastronomy or kitchen, e.g., as a food technology specialist, machine and plant operator, cook, or kitchen practical assistant
- Technical understanding and enjoyment of practical tasks
