About the Role

The role of a Food Service Assistant in an Aged Care facility is busy as it is rewarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Set up for meal service and clean down afterwards.

Requirements

• Prior hospitality experience is highly valued but not mandatory.
• A certificate in food safety is recommended.
• May be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Must be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) in accordance with the requirements of the aged care facility.
