About the Role

Drive innovative critical care education programs organisation-wide within a supportive and passionate Education team at NSW's largest Private Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and drive innovative clinical education programs across the organisation.
  • Provide expert guidance on evidence-based education, ensuring alignment with best practice standards, accreditation requirements, and strategic goals.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate simulation-based and practice-integrated learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with nursing, medical, allied health, patient experience, and quality teams to champion forward-thinking education programs.
  • Refine educational strategies using data, feedback, and clinical insights to maintain a skilled and agile workforce.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential).
  • Proven experience in leading or contributing to simulation education to enhance clinical competency.
  • In-depth expertise in adult learning principles, clinical supervision, and developing effective learning programs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NSQHS Standards and clinical governance frameworks.
  • ALS Instructor certification with the Australian Resuscitation Council or willingness to obtain (essential).
