About the Role
This Talent Sourcer role focuses on proactively identifying, engaging, and evaluating candidates for current and future hiring needs. Sourcing strategies include mining online databases, social media, Boolean keyword searching, and analyzing market data. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of matching candidates with career opportunities, building rapport with passive candidates, and achieving metrics.
Responsibilities
- Source potential and passive candidates through direct applicant channels, Gartner’s CRM, referrals, professional social media sites, extensive lead generation research and relationship building.
- Generate candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging by clearly articulating the Gartner value proposition.
- Utilize a programmatic approach to engage talent for open roles and build pipeline (campaign management).
- Prequalify potential candidates through phone interviewing, trait assessments, and behavioral based interviewing.
- Develop and cultivate a pipeline of talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Build strong trust-based relationships with recruiters & hiring managers to understand business needs and alignment strategy.
- Conduct market mapping and market intelligence.
- Continually expand network through leveraging user groups, blogs and networking events.
Requirements
- 1-3 years Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience required.
- Strong research and candidate generation skills.
- Business Development and/or Sales experience a plus.
- Familiarity with current direct sourcing techniques and ability to remain current with developing new processes and strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
