About the Role

The Specialist, Paid Media Strategy is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and managing paid media campaigns to achieve viewership and audience acquisition goals. This role collaborates with agency partners and internal teams to develop audience-driven media plans, monitor campaign performance, manage budgets, and identify optimization opportunities through data-driven decision-making. It serves as a key liaison between internal teams and agency partners to ensure efficient campaign execution aligned with marketing and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage paid media campaigns to meet performance goals.
  • Create and present media briefs with audience insights, budget, goals, and KPIs.
  • Oversee the media plan review, feedback, and approval process with agency partners.
  • Brief internal Marketing Creative and Production teams on paid campaign asset requirements.
  • Oversee campaign execution, troubleshoot roadblocks, and optimize throughout the campaign lifespan.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align paid campaigns with holistic strategies.
  • Set campaign performance goals in partnership with Marketing Analytics and agency teams.
  • Evaluate performance against KPIs and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Monitor campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and partner with agency teams to improve effectiveness.
  • Support testing and learning initiatives by implementing experiments and sharing insights.
  • Recommend individual campaign budgets using forecasting and media mix models.
  • Manage campaign budgets and pacing to ensure optimized investments and adherence to spending plans.
  • Manage pacing against contractual spend commitments and partnership agreements.
  • Serve as the paid media subject matter expert for the Global Marketing team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media partners to stay updated on capabilities and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on marketplace trends and innovation.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience managing paid media campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into compelling narratives.
  • Proactive self-starter, comfortable moving projects forward independently.
  • Experience with budget planning and management.
  • Test and learn mindset.
  • Highly collaborative with both internal and external partners.
  • AI fluency and prompting skill.
