About the Role
Seeking a Commercial/Tech Transactions Attorney to support a large electronics company in Irvine, CA. This role involves managing key legal operations initiatives and partnering cross-functionally to drive efficient deal execution, mitigate risk, and support strategic technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage legal operations for the legal affairs team, including outside counsel management, contract management systems, new vendor onboarding and evaluation, and the integration of VIZIO/Walmart systems and processes.
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial transaction agreements, including vendor agreements, SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and online terms and conditions.
- Own the full lifecycle of commercial transactions, from initial intake through negotiation and execution.
- Partner cross-functionally with business, compliance, and privacy teams to support deal execution and risk mitigation.
- Support strategic initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, including matters involving digital products, hardware, technology platforms, artificial intelligence, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of in-house legal experience preferred
- Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of commercial transactions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
