About the Role
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining an exceptionally clean and inviting environment for hotel guests and responding to specific room supply requests in a timely manner, while adhering to established quality standards and service procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of assigned guest rooms
- Meet the standard of cleaning sixteen guest rooms per shift
- Report any damage or inefficiencies to management prior to releasing a room for occupancy
- Respond in a courteous and welcoming manner to guest questions and requests for supplies
- Operate cleaning equipment in a safe manner following standard operating procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned boardrooms
- Ensure inventory of guest room products is updated prior to releasing the room
- Clean other common areas within the hotel as requested by management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience required, preferably in a hotel environment
- Customer service experience required
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 11.5 kg (25 lbs)
- Ability to multi-task and achieve daily quotas
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment
- Safety-oriented mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to submit to a criminal record check
