About the Role
Throughline Strategy is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to support high-impact insights, strategy, and quality improvement projects. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, offering mentorship and training.
Responsibilities
- Help develop project plans, track timelines and budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Support project kickoffs and maintain project governance and documentation.
- Assign and track tasks across the project team, monitor progress, and flag risks.
- Support senior team members in coordinating resources and schedules.
- Maintain project documentation, templates, and trackers.
- Identify opportunities to improve team processes and suggest new tools.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Prepare for and drive internal status meetings.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, helping to schedule and run status meetings.
- Capture and distribute action items and follow up on workstreams.
- Build trust with clients and colleagues through clear, proactive communication.
- Help improve workplace culture and space.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience leading and organizing teams (volunteer and extra-curricular activities count).
- 0-2 years of experience in a role requiring juggling multiple priorities (internships, co-ops, part-time work count).
- Agency, consulting, healthcare, or client-facing environment experience is a plus.
- Naturally outgoing, confident communication style.
- Comfortable speaking up in meetings, asking questions, and taking ownership.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and business communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience balancing multiple tasks or priorities with shifting deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience taking initiative and following through independently.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships and communicating confidently with different types of people.
- Passion for working in a health-related field.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Second and third language skills are a plus.
- Comfort learning new digital tools quickly.
- Experience with G-Suite, MS-Office, PowerPoint, and digital collaboration tools is a plus.
- Prior exposure to Netsuite/SPP, Salesforce, or Smartsheet is a bonus.
- Experience integrating AI tools into daily activities.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Must be able to travel to the United States and Europe if required.
