About the Role

Base is seeking a Deployment Operations Specialist to support the launch of new utility partnerships. This role involves managing the pipeline, scheduling, and interconnection process from deal signing to Permission to Operate (PTO), serving as the primary point of contact for utility partners during market launches.

Responsibilities

• Own daily pipeline health across partner queues, addressing aging deals, routing issues, and maintaining CRM data.
• Coordinate handoffs between field teams and partners to maintain installation quotas and prevent scheduling disruptions.
• Manage the end-to-end utility interconnection agreement process, including tracking submissions, follow-ups, and driving towards PTO.
• Act as the primary point of contact for utility partners regarding interconnection agreements, inspections, and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with utility representatives to stay informed about process changes and requirements.
• Develop weekly performance metrics and dashboards for installation, commissioning, and pipeline, identifying trends and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with Deployments, Field Ops, and Partnerships to identify and resolve utility-side blockers.

Requirements

• 1-2 years in operations, program management, or partnerships roles with multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Experience with utility companies, interconnection agreements, or energy markets is a plus.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) for data management.
• Strong written communication skills for drafting partner-facing materials.
• Proven ability to build external partner relationships and resolve process bottlenecks.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deals and approvals.
• Experience in energy, utilities, construction, or field services operations is preferred.
