About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join one of our product engineering pods, building and evolving features end-to-end across frontend and backend systems. You’ll partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship high-quality, reliable software that directly affects user experience and product outcomes. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative — the ability to communicate clearly, present technical decisions, and align cross-functional partners is as important as the code you write.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end product features across frontend and backend
- Build responsive, performant user interfaces using React (TypeScript)
- Develop scalable APIs and backend services using Python (FastAPI)
- Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable code
- Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of services
- Work with relational databases — data modeling, schema, and migrations
- Integrate with internal and external APIs
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
- Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
- Partner with product managers and designers to refine requirements and shape solutions
- Communicate technical trade-offs and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Present technical designs, approaches, and post-mortems in team forums and reviews
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; share knowledge across the pod
- Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other team routines
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript / TypeScript (React)
- Strong hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI)
- Strong hands-on experience with RESTful API design and backend development
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and database design
- Experience building and shipping production-grade applications
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a product-focused team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — fluent professional proficiency required
- Confident presenting technical concepts, trade-offs, and decisions to engineers, product managers, and senior stakeholders
- Strong active-listening and stakeholder-management skills; able to navigate ambiguity and align partners around solutions
- Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback in code reviews, design discussions, and retrospectives
- Collaborative, low-ego, and pragmatic — prioritizes team and product outcomes over individual preference
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines preferred
- Performance optimization experience preferred
- Experience with observability tooling preferred
- Experience working in Agile environments preferred
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical discussions preferred
