Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, and relevant health histories.
- Administer treatment plans according to standardized procedures.
- Deliver cutting-edge treatments such as TMS and Esketamine, monitoring patient responses for optimal care adjustments.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and symptom management strategies.
- Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services.
- Maintain timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters in an Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
- Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with patients and colleagues.
Requirements
- One year of post-education experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
- Valid and current, unrestricted, Texas NP and furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s).
- Valid Texas DEA registration.
- Autonomous practice ability.
- Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology.
- Compassionate and motivated team player.
