Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, and relevant health histories.
  • Administer treatment plans according to standardized procedures.
  • Deliver cutting-edge treatments such as TMS and Esketamine, monitoring patient responses for optimal care adjustments.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and symptom management strategies.
  • Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services.
  • Maintain timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters in an Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
  • Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with patients and colleagues.

Requirements

  • One year of post-education experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Valid and current, unrestricted, Texas NP and furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s).
  • Valid Texas DEA registration.
  • Autonomous practice ability.
  • Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology.
  • Compassionate and motivated team player.
