About the Role
Dream's Development Accounting team is looking to hire an 8-month Development Accounting intern, starting in September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to apply and develop your knowledge in a dynamic and innovative environment, working on meaningful projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process.
- Assist with execution and learn related accounting treatment for key transactions and financial operations on certain projects.
- Record monthly and quarterly corporate journal entries including inter-company transactions, equity investments, distribution / contribution transactions, and corporate elimination entries.
- Prepare and analyze account reconciliations.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and analyses including cash flow forecasting.
- Assist in preparation of monthly reporting packages to business partners.
- Support team members and other departments as required.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a focus on Business or Accounting.
- Diligent and detail-oriented when preparing deliverables.
- Driven to continuously learn from experiences and seek out feedback and development opportunities.
- Able to work hard and smart to meet demands and deadlines at key times of pressure.
- Strong team player and supportive of the achievement of collective goals.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to develop solutions to key issues.
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal learning with a desire to pursue an accounting designation.
