About the Role
Lead meaningful group experiences that support clients on their recovery journey within an outpatient team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values holistic care, and is energized by helping individuals build sustainable, life-changing progress.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging IOP and OP group therapy sessions using evidence-based and holistic approaches
- Create a supportive and inclusive group environment that fosters connection and growth
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
- Respond to clinical needs in real time, including crisis intervention when necessary
- Support drug and alcohol screening processes as needed
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field
- Active New York provisional license/permit (LMSW, MHC-LP, or MFT-LP) required
- Independent licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) strongly preferred
- Experience facilitating group therapy required
- Outpatient or substance use treatment experience preferred

- Non-clinical hours: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
- Clinical hours: $55.00 – $80.00 per hour
