About the Role
Establish and expand relationships with current and prospective customers, acting as the primary knowledge base to directly impact customers and the bottom line in the fluid power industry.
Responsibilities
- Confer with customers and factory representatives to assess equipment needs based on application requirements.
- Achieve sales and profit goals by developing existing customers, opening new business, and customer retention.
- Conduct sales and customer service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up, and negotiate terms, and close transactions.
Requirements
- Industrial sales experience.
- Advanced computer and analytical skills.
- Strong technical aptitude with a desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the practical application of pumps-hoses-fittings-hydraulics is a bonus but not required.

Education Level
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an inside sales role required.
Salary/Compensations
- $50,000 - $75,000 per year
